I was only able to attend the ride to the honor area, which was on
Moorpark Rd, to the church for the service. But that was enough for me.
This was one of the most emotional PGR rides I have witnessed. The
little city of Thousand Oaks came out in force today, hundreds lined
the street holding American Flags. I saw all ages, from
elementry school kids, to Thousand Oaks high school football players in
their jerseys standing on the sidewalks with their hands over their
hearts. This was a tough one to do. Anthony Melia was a well loved
young man, and it was obvious that he is missed.
The PGR had 30 bikes there along with 2 cages. A good turnout for a
Monday morning event.
