Leaving Kern River, we rode a road that I had never been on, the Bodfish/Calient Road. Unfortunately it began to rain while we were on it, so we had to take it real slow. Also there are Cows that just stop in the middle of the road too.
Leaving Bodfish/Caliente road, we hopped on the 58 freeway to the 14- stopped for gas and headed home. It rained the entire way, but we both had smiles on our faces when we got home.
Unfortunately, on Sunday October 1, 2006, a very good friend of mine was killed while riding her motorcycle... That put a damper everything in my life, and the thought of ever getting back on my motorcycle again.
