4 States n' 4 Nites

We all quietly packed up our bikes, Mark suggested that he lead us out of town since he knew the area, so we filed out onto the street and headed for the freeway. Once there, Maureen had a slight problem with her bike, and had to pull over, Sparky as tail gunner stopped to assist her. The rest of us got off at the next off ramp, and I called Sparky on his cell phone to get the status, they had already passed us and was heading for the next gas stop, so we gassed up and headed on our way to meet them at the next off ramp.  Once there we got together and got back on the freeway again.

Mark continued to lead, which I didn’t mind at all, making his lane changes on the freeway, and after riding together for 5 days, they were becoming like clockwork. We rode to Baker, where we stopped for a gas and then continued on toward lunch at Peggy Sues in Barstow.
