When we emerged from the tunnel, it was hailing, not hard, but enough to get you wet. We went around the first curve and I looked up and saw a Maureen’s rainbow. Lynn grabbed her camera and took one of the best photographs of the trip. I am so glad it came out. Riding the windy road down the mountain in the rain, watching the bikes behind me, it was an awesome experience. One I will never forget.
We continued on, till we got to the Visitor center, unfortunately it had closed a few minutes before we arrived. We took some photos, and then were on our way again.
